HostedNumbers.com provides hosted communications with friendly service and is relied on by all types of businesses for phone numbers. HostedNumbers.com is part of a larger organization, PATLive, which has been serving tens of thousands of customers around the world since 1990 and was an Inc. 500 company in 1996, 1997 and 1998. Our phone numbers come with summary and detailed traffic reports, can be integrated with Web-based analytics, and can be scheduled to deliver callers to different ring-to numbers or to different types of answering services. Both toll-free numbers and local DIDs are available.

Our Support

All our services are backed up by 24-hour live support where we typically answer 90% of callers within 20 seconds. Our answering center is located in the U.S., not overseas. Before our customer care representatives are eligible to answer their first customer support call, they receive a minimum of 20 days of training, must apprentice for at least three months, and have to pass a battery of tests.

Our Reliability

Our two-story building has a concrete and steel shell. In 2008 this building was gutted and renovated to PATLive’s specifications, including a new roof, a structurally reinforced computer room and a multi-million dollar storm-water drainage improvement project. We occupy 19,000 square feet on the second floor.

All systems internal to PATLive are redundant, including air cooling capacity and network switching. Additionally, PATLive’s computer facility is configured as a Hot Aisle Containment System to maximize cooling and energy efficiencies. Environmental monitoring and alarm systems are in place and all systems are accessible remotely. A diesel generator can supply power to critical systems in the event of a power outage. This system is tested weekly and can supply our power needs for 5 days before it needs refueling.

Our network is architected with switch and route diversity and with automatic failover on the local loop. We have an OC-48 SONET ring with dual entrances into our building. The optic cables enter at opposite ends of the PATLive building and do not follow the same path until they enter the computer room.
